This coffee is produced by the Mwika coffee group in the village of Mwika on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Grown at an altitude of 1600-1750 meters, it consists of Jackson Bourbon and Kent varieties. The coffee is processed using a washed method, involving depulping, overnight soaking, flotation sorting, and drying on raised beds. It features a flavor profile characterized by notes of mandarin, orange, plum, and chocolate.
A newly launched micro roastery based in Laholm, in Sweden's southwest, K&B Kafferosteri works exclusively with specialty grade coffee grown under fair conditions.
