About This Coffee

A single-origin Arabica coffee from the Cerrado region of Brazil, roasted using a traditional long-drum roasting method. The beans are low-acid and pitted (Entsteint). The flavor profile features notes of chocolate and nutty undertones with mild acidity and no bitterness. Each cup is topped with a rich crema, making it suitable for both filter machines and espresso portafilter brewing.

Blank Roast

Blank Roast is a coffee manufactory nestled in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, right on Germany's famous Wine Route — an unusual but fitting location for a roaster that draws on terroir-thinking. Master roaster Holger K. Blank has been at the helm since 2007, using a beautifully restored 1930s roasting machine fitted with modern controls. His unique approach includes adding organic grapevines from the surrounding region during the roasting process, which adds moisture and coaxes out extra aroma from the beans. The result is a distinctly smooth, aromatic cup with notes of vanilla, almond, and cinnamon developed during the 15-to-20-minute slow roast. Customers can watch the entire roasting process from their café seats while enjoying breakfast and freshly brewed coffee — a true sensory experience.
