This is a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from the Haru washing station just outside Yirgacheffe. Established in 1979, the washing station is now owned by Komilachu and works with exporter Tracon. The coffee uses the oldest natural processing method where harvested cherries are cleaned and placed in the sun to dry on tables lining the hills. The cherries are hand-picked, with pickers rotating among trees every eight to ten days, selecting only deep red cherries. The coffee is described as suitable for filter, AeroPress, or espresso-based drinks, with added milk tasting like a berry milkshake.
