This blend combines two components: 67% Sitio Pico Do Bone from Araponga, Matas de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and 33% NKG Bloom Maya from Fraylesca, Chiapas, Mexico. The Brazilian component is produced by Cristiene and Katia Martins with their two brothers at 1100-1300 meters altitude, featuring Red and Yellow Catuai, Catigua MG1, and Catigua MG2 varietals with natural processing. The Mexican component is grown at 800-1700 meters altitude with Sarchimor, Costa Rica 95, Marsellesa, Caturra, Bourbon, Marago, and Obata varietals using washed processing. The medium-dark roast offers flavor notes of dark chocolate, walnut, and dried dark fruit with nostalgic characteristics emphasizing sweetness and a hint of dried fruit brightness.
