This natural process coffee is sourced from a collective of over 140 households in the Letefoho region of Timor-Leste. The coffee cherries are dried in the sun with the fruit intact, allowing the beans to absorb sugars and flavors from the pulp. This results in a rich, full-bodied, and fruit-forward cup with tasting notes of red grape, passionfruit, and treacle. The coffee offers a syrupy body and a deep, expressive sweetness.
Dear Green Coffee Roasters was founded in 2011 in Glasgow, Scotland, by Lisa Lawson after a formative period working at Toby's Estate in Australia. The company is named after Glasgow's historic Gaelic nickname, "the dear green place," and sources exclusively specialty grade coffee through trusted importers and direct producer relationships, with Lawson personally visiting farms to verify ethical practices. Dear Green employs in house Q Graders to maintain strict quality control, only releasing coffees that meet its sensory standards. The roastery holds Certified B Corp status and prioritizes traceability, organic certification where possible, and sourcing from women producers.
