Blind Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

Blend of Colombian and Brazilian coffees with tasting notes of peanut butter and jelly. The Brazilian beans bring nutty peanut butter flavors, while the Colombia Gesha contributes fruity jam-like characteristics. Features a City Roast on the light side of medium to bring out the nuts and fruit, providing a clean and smooth mouthfeel with a milk chocolatey color. The Colombia component is Direct Trade and the Brazil is Fair Trade. This blend won an award at Golden Bean North America in 2015.

Blind Coffee Roasters

Blind Coffee Roasters was founded in October 2012 by Tim Howard, whose coffee journey began in 1983 as an associate roaster in San Francisco's coffee industry. Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, the roastery operates a custom designed 20 kilogram machine from Primo Roasting Equipment in Long Beach and specialises in low acidity coffee using medium City Roast profiles that preserve origin driven characteristics. The approach has earned 49 medals at the Golden Bean The Americas competition over the past decade, including a finish as the top Oregon roaster in 2023 and 9th overall in North America. Howard won his first gold medal in 2024 and followed it with a bronze at the Golden Bean World Championship the same year.
