This unique Caturron honey processed coffee is from Luis Aníbal Calderón's Finca Villa Betulia in Huila, Acevedo, Colombia, grown at 1500 meters altitude. The cherries underwent 200 hours of anaerobic fermentation with spices as dry cherry in closed bags, followed by 50 hours depulped in concrete tanks. Drying took place over 22 days on raised beds under passive solar marquees. This 2022 vintage harvest was frozen upon arrival to preserve its character. The rare Caturron varietal was discovered by the producer on his own farm.
