One Village Coffee

About This Coffee

Villager is an organic blend featuring beans from Colombia and Ethiopia. The Ethiopian component is from Sidama, grown by smallholder farmers and processed at central washing stations where the cherry is pulped, fermented, washed, and sun-dried on raised beds. This brings notes of fresh citrus, peach, lemon, and vanilla. The Colombian beans are from Nariño and Tolima, processed on individual farms with each farmer having their own pulping machines, fermentation tanks, and drying beds. These coffees contribute higher acidity with notes of chocolate and cherry. The blend is roasted on the lighter end of medium to highlight sweetness and acidity with little to no roasty flavors. The flavor profile features raw sugar, honey, cherry, floral accents, and vibrant citrus acidity.
