About This Coffee

This Indonesian coffee originates from the Aceh region in Sumatra, specifically from the Kokowagayo farm at altitudes between 1300-1600 meters. It is produced by Wanita Gayo, the first and only women-owned and women-operated cooperative in Sumatra, founded in 2014. The coffee features Tim Tim and Bourbon varieties and is processed using the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method typical of Indonesia. Harvested in 2025, this coffee offers flavor notes of cranberry, tamarind sweetness, and caramel with a spiced finish. It has a dense body with a honeyed mouthfeel.

Randall Coffee Roasters

Randall Coffee Roasters was founded in 2013 by Barry Randall and Miguel inside Mercado de Vallehermoso, one of Madrid's revitalised market halls. They were among the first micro roasteries in the city's specialty coffee scene. Single origin coffees are roasted weekly for freshness and supplied to several Madrid businesses. The operation also distributes premium equipment from brands like La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino, and provides consulting for new coffee space openings, covering everything from space planning to licensing.
