About This Coffee

This is a microlot coffee from Capim Branco farm in Serra do Salitre, Brazil, produced by the Andrade Brothers of Sao Silvestre - Direct Trade partners. The Arara varietal was accidentally created through cultivar crossing and has become desirable for its disease resistance, scoring 86+ in competitions. This Aerobic Natural coffee was fermented in open-air tanks at ambient temperature for 48 hours, reaching 35°C, then dried on raised beds for 21 days. The coffee presents tasting notes of pomelo, candied orange, and hazelnuts with a peanut butter aroma, medium body, and medium/high acidity. Grown at 1100 meters altitude.
