The company operates two arms: Bettr Academy, the region's largest SCA Premier Training Campus, and Bettr Coffee, which roasts 100% Arabica beans from Central America, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and India on a Probatone drum roaster at its ISO certified facility on Harrison Road. Its Holistic Training Programme offers two to four month placements for marginalized individuals, and the company donates a minimum of one percent of revenue to community initiatives each year. Chng, who served six years on the SCA global board, has built sourcing partnerships through Caravela Coffee that pay farmers averaging over 100% above fair trade premiums.
