Operated by Nestor Lasso and his family, this farm blends traditional cultivation with cutting-edge processing techniques. The natural process preserves the ripe sweetness of the cherries, yielding rich fruitiness and complex flavours. Tasting notes include red grape, passion fruit, dark cherry, prune, bubblegum, and dark chocolate. Versatile for both filter and espresso, and retains its character with milk.

The roastery sources coffees including prized Geisha varieties and experimentally processed lots, bringing world coffee standards into daily life through an approach that treats specialty coffee less as a luxury and more as something accessible to everyone. Freak welcomes a broad community including families with children and offers student discounts, pairing its coffees with house made banana bread, cheesecake, and pudding.
