About This Coffee

Finca La Estrella is a family farm located in La Unión, Nariño, southwestern Colombia, at 2,000 meters altitude. The plantation cultivates 13,000 Caturra trees in volcanic soil near the equator, benefiting from warm days and cold nights. Coffees are harvested selectively for red cherries only, further sorted by maturity in water tanks, and processed using spring water from the farm. After washed processing, beans are sun-dried and packed in Grain Pro bags. Flavor notes include peach, plum, and caramel.
