Archers

Six friends from different professional backgrounds founded Archers in 2018 in Sharjah, driven by a shared conviction that the UAE specialty coffee scene needed better education, access to quality green coffee, and higher sourcing standards. The company operates as both a green coffee trader and a roastery, sourcing from 13 origin countries with a strict minimum cup score of 85. Among the founding team are multiple licensed CQI Q Graders, including co founder and green buyer Frederick Bejo, and the facility holds dual certification as an SCA and CQI training campus. The roasting philosophy centers on minimal intervention, letting the terroir and processing speak rather than imposing a house style. David Disuanco, part of the Archers team, won the 2021 UAE National Brewers Cup and went on to represent the country at the World Brewers Cup, where the UAE placed in the top ten for the first time.
