This single-origin coffee is grown by the Gamboa family at the Carrizal Arriba farm in the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica at 1900 meters altitude. It is a Catuai variety processed using the white honey method at the Montes de Oro micro-mill. The flavor profile is balanced and sweet, featuring notes of honeycrisp apple, orange marmalade, and chocolate fudge.
Founded in 2009 by Kaelin McCowan in a back alley in Dundas, Ontario, Detour Coffee Roasters was born from a passion for the craft. They started with a journey across the continent to pick up their first roaster and have since grown into a beloved brand known for their fun, approachable, and high-quality "friendly coffee".
