This coffee is a Natural Anaerobic Catuai bean from Costa Rica, grown by Don Alexis and his family. The coffee features flavor notes of blueberry, cranberry, blood orange, chocolate, and hazelnut. Don Alexis and his family strive to produce high-quality beans and have brought all parts of the cultivation and processing chain in-house to maintain control over every micro-lot. They work extensively with both aerobic and anaerobic fermentation processes, which produce fruity and complex flavors.
A newly launched micro roastery based in Laholm, in Sweden's southwest, K&B Kafferosteri works exclusively with specialty grade coffee grown under fair conditions. The operation is small, focused, and still building its presence, with an emphasis on transparency and control across the coffee process.
