About This Coffee

A single-origin Costa Rica coffee from the Los Santos area, at the foothills of Tapantí National Park, grown at 1750m altitude. This is a microlot from the Los Campos farm, produced by the Ramirez/Navarro family under the Don Alexis label. The variety is Catuaí, processed using a thermal aerobic natural method — cherries are wrapped in black plastic to ferment at 40–45°C, then sun-dried for approximately 30 days. Flavor notes include yellow melon, blackcurrant, and cacao nibs, with a complex bright acidity, velvety body, and prolonged sweetness.

Garage Coffee Bros

Brothers Davide and Andrea Cobelli founded Garage Coffee Bros in early 2019 in Verona, combining Davide's professional specialty coffee training background with Andrea's engineering expertise in Industry 4.0 to build a roastery where artisanship meets technology. Davide won the 2020 Italian Coffee Roasting Championship, bringing competitive credibility to an operation that provides cupping scores and detailed tasting notes for every coffee it sells. The roastery also operates a Coffee Training Academy, extending the brothers' commitment to education beyond the roaster and into the broader Italian specialty community. Their flagship store in the heart of Verona's city center offers a cozy space staffed by knowledgeable baristas, serving coffees roasted with specific profiles for different brew methods. Garage Coffee Bros' name combines Davide's two passions, coffee and cars, and the operation's emphasis on respect for the supply chain, environmental responsibility, innovation, and fresh crop sourcing makes it one of the Veneto region's most principled specialty roasters.
