This coffee is a single origin specialty coffee from the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica, grown at 1200 to 2000 meters altitude by multiple smallholder farmers. The beans are Caturra and Catuai varieties, processed using the washed method. The coffee is roasted to a light-medium level and features a medium body with very well-balanced flavors. The tasting notes include heavy body with high, slightly winey acidity, complex flavor attributes ranging from tropical nuts and dark chocolate to citrus fruit. The beans are dense with a screen size of 15 plus, harvested from November to February.
