About This Coffee

A Sarchimor variety (indigenous/ancestral to Costa Rica) from Hacienda Sonora, grown by Diego Guardia in Carillo Alto de Poas, Alajuela, Costa Rica at 1300 meters altitude. Processed using an anaerobic natural method. Flavor notes include black currant, grandma's jam, and magic tricks. Hacienda Sonora has been a pioneer in alternative processing techniques and has more than 20 varietals across 80 hectares of coffee.
