El Indio is a 100% Caturra microlot coffee. The cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, carefully sorted, and sun-dried on raised beds under controlled conditions to ensure ideal moisture content. This coffee offers a rich chocolate body complemented by bright tropical notes of mango, resulting in a complex and balanced cup.
Founded in 2011 by Jeff Duggan in Costa Mesa CA, Portola Coffee employs a Loring Smart Roaster to achieve precision and consistency in every batch. Roast Magazine named them Micro Roaster of the Year in 2015, validating their innovative approach and commitment to excellence.
