About This Coffee

El Orvo is a natural-processed microlot from Finca El Orvo, a 10-hectare family farm in Fraijanes, Sabanilla de Alajuela, Central Valley, Costa Rica, cultivated by Steven Vargas and his family across five generations. Processed at the Don Sabino Micromill, founded in 2011, the lot consists of approximately 24 bags of Catuai variety grown at 1,300–1,600 meters altitude, harvested from October to March. The cup profile features white currant, vanilla, and walnut with a fruity-sweet, balanced, and elegant character. Suitable for all brewing methods including espresso, filter, cold brew, and cold drip.
