El Salvador Finca San José bærtørket

JACU Coffee Roastery

About This Coffee

A microlot from a UNESCO-protected area with forests and biological corridors in El Salvador. Grown at 1,300–1,650 meters altitude on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano, opposite Lake Coatepeque, in the Apaneca Ilamatepec region. The Pacamara variety is naturally processed (bærtørket). The volcanic andisol soil provides excellent drainage and moisture retention, contributing to a clean cup with refined mineral tones. Flavor notes include plum, caramel, cocoa, passion fruit, and raspberry, with a silky mouthfeel and lively citrusy acidity. Produced by farmer Florence Mathies at Finca San José.
