El Salvador - Las Brumas WFP: Honey, SL-28

This coffee is a single origin from the Las Brumas farm in Sonsonate, San Blas, El Salvador, grown by farmer Ernesto Menendez at an altitude of 1,700 to 2,000 m.a.s.l. The SL-28 variety was cultivated in an uncultivated area of forest as part of the Wild Forest Project, working with the existing ecosystem. Processed using the honey method, the slow maturation of the coffee cherries results in an intensely sweet cup with heightened acidity.
