About This Coffee

A natural (berry-dried) coffee from Villa Galicia farm in the Apaneca Ilamatepec region of El Salvador, produced by Mauricio Salaverria at 1550 meters altitude. The varieties include Red Bourbon, Yellow Bourbon, and Caturra Rouge, harvested December–March 2024/25. The name "Pineapple" originated from Q-graders and direct trade visitors consistently noting pineapple aromas during cuppings. Flavor notes include pineapple, cacao nibs, red berries, and citrus fruits. Transported across the Atlantic by sailboat.
