Espresso Blend Black Pearl
Public Coffee RoastersAbout This Coffee
A 100% Arabica espresso blend sourced from three origins. Tanzania contributes beans from the Utengule Coffee Estate at 1,400 meters, using Bourbon varieties dried naturally for 10 days, offering hazelnut notes, fruity acidity, and a mild body. Guatemala's Cobán region at 1,200–1,800 meters provides Bourbon and Caturra varieties (washed), adding dark chocolate character. Brazil's Alta Mogiana region at 1,000–1,200 meters supplies Yellow Bourbon processed naturally, contributing deep sweetness and a full body. Tasting notes include dark chocolate, honey, hazelnut, and caramel.

Public Coffee Roasters
Public Coffee Roasters is a Hamburg-based specialty roaster founded with a clear mission: to generate public interest in great coffee while being fully transparent about how they work. They started out roasting on a floating barge in Hamburg's Entenwerder park before outgrowing that space and moving to a larger 800-sqm facility in Rahlstedt in 2020. Today they operate three cafés across Hamburg — in Neustadt, Eimsbüttel (with an attached bakery), and Mühlenkamp — each with its own character. The team is young, energetic, and deeply committed to specialty coffee education and making quality accessible. Their coffees are sourced from long-term producer relationships and roasted to highlight origin character and sweetness.
