This coffee originates from the Bochesa village area in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, grown at altitudes of 2000-2100 meters. It is an Heirloom variety coffee processed using the washed method. The beans come from approximately 900 farmers who deliver ripe cherries to a processing station established three years ago. The cherries are sorted, depulped, fermented for 12-16 hours, washed again to remove remaining mucilage, and then hand-dried on raised beds for approximately two weeks. The flavor profile features sweet lychee, peach with apricot, and melon on the front, with currants, citrus, and delicate tea notes in the background.
