This coffee comes from the Chelchele washing station, located in the kebele (village) of Chelchele, in the Kochere district of the Yirgacheffe region, Ethiopia. Grown at 1790–1900 meters above sea level, it is produced by local farmers without fertilisers or pesticides. The variety is Heirloom — a term encompassing the thousands of genetically diverse, native Ethiopian varieties. Processed naturally, with flavor notes of apricot nectar, prunes, violets, and black tea. Roasted as an omni profile, balanced for both espresso and filter extractions.
