This single origin coffee comes from the Hambela Wamena district in West Guji, Ethiopia. It is produced by Esaias Beriso Arere on his 32-hectare estate farm with approximately 2500 trees per hecthectare. The farm is located at 2200-2350 meters above sea level with red clay soil. The coffee is naturally processed with a drying period of 12-17 days. Harvested between November to December 2023, it features mixed heirloom Ethiopian varieties. The cup profile includes floral notes, lime, rockmelon, and black tea. This is a filter roast coffee.

After more than eight years of preparation, Manta Ray Coffee Roasters opened their flagship roastery in Nunawading, Melbourne, in October 2022. The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
