About This Coffee

Ethiopia Koke Violet is a naturally processed single-origin coffee from the Yirgacheffe region at 1900 meters elevation. This heirloom variety coffee showcases wild, unmutated Arabica trees growing naturally in the forest around Koke. The natural processing method infuses cherry flavors into the green bean, resulting in a light roast with flavor notes of mandarin orange, red apple, and mango.

43 Coffee was established in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur and has since relocated its roastery to Shah Alam. The company works exclusively with 100% Arabica beans imported directly from highland growing regions, applying a light roasting method designed to fully express each bean's natural character. Their approach is guided by five core strategies: transparency, traceability, ethics, responsibility, and a transition toward sustainability. Environmental conditions during roasting are meticulously recorded to ensure consistency and quality across every batch. 43 Coffee positions itself as a micro roaster dedicated to redefining artisan coffee standards in Malaysia.
