About This Coffee

A washed coffee from the Uraga washing station in the Guji region of Ethiopia, hand-picked by smallholder farmers. After picking, the fruit flesh is removed the same day (pulping), then the coffee is washed and dried on raised drying beds in the sun. Guji features well-drained soil and a climate with distinct rainy seasons, developing complex aromas. The variety is Ethiopian Heirloom, grown at 2100–2300 meters altitude. Flavor notes include lemon, bergamot, apricot, and ripe pear.
