Finca El Flamigo
Beanatic Espresso-KaffeerösterAbout This Coffee
A spritzig fruchtiger Specialty Espresso from a farmer community in Jaltenango, Chiapas, Mexico. The coffee grows at 1200-1500 meters altitude (Strictly High Grown) and is SHG quality. The farmers united in 2011 to survive the coffee rust disaster and now invest collectively in farm renewal. The coffee is hand-harvested from January to April and wet-processed near the farms using hand mills. The beans are dried, then transported to Comitán for dry milling, and finally shipped from Veracruz in colorful jute and GrainPro bags. The name honors the fishing village Celestún in Yucatán, known for its flamingos and other waterfowl.

Beanatic Espresso-Kaffeeröster
Beanatic Coffee Roasters is a specialty roastery near Zurich, born from more than 20 years of experience in IT and a growing obsession with coffee. The name fuses "bean" and "fanatic," and the team embraces that identity fully. They roast on two induction drum roasters, working exclusively with specialty grade green coffee and refining each batch with care. The roastery is driven by an ongoing pursuit of new coffees, new technologies, and new approaches to the craft. For Beanatic, quality has to be present from the raw bean onward. The result is a focused operation that treats roasting as both science and sensory art.
