About This Coffee

This is a rotating blend of African coffees currently composed of Rwanda Kanzu washed, Ethiopia Guji Gora Kone natural, and Burundi Rimiro natural. The blend features coffees from Ethiopia, Burundi, and Rwanda grown at 1600-2000 meters altitude. The Rwanda Kanzu component comes from the Kanzu washing station near Nyungwe protected forest. Ethiopia Gora Kone (Mountain Hump) is grown in Nansebo by 700-800 farmers with farms typically under 4 hectares. Burundi Rimiro natural comes from farmers with an average of 250 coffee trees producing 200-300 kilos of cherry annually. The blend uses mixed varieties and combines natural and washed processing methods. This medium roast coffee features berry, citrus, and floral notes with a complex, fruity, and lively profile characteristic of African coffees.
