A Geisha micro-lot from Abu Coffee, produced by José Luttrell at Hacienda Cañas Verdes in the Cañas Verdes region of Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama, at 1,550 masl. Lot GN-25 undergoes an anaerobic natural process: cherries are hand-collected, floated in mountain spring water, fermented for 24 hours in open tanks, then undergo a second anaerobic dry fermentation phase for 96 hours, followed by 25 days of sun-drying on African raised beds. The cup offers tropical fruit acidity with tea-like texture. Roasted light/medium for filter brewing. Cup score: 91.75.
