Taste Coffee

Elisa Urdich and Fabio Tiralongo, a couple in life and business, founded Taste Coffee and More in 2017 after returning from Australia where they had worked together at Ona Coffee, one of the country's most acclaimed specialty roasters, and arrived back in Treviso with the determination to build something that could shift the way their city thought about coffee. Their space sits in a characteristic alleyway in the historic center of Treviso, and in June 2021 the couple opened a dedicated micro roastery in the nearby Postioma neighborhood, a 140 square metre space designed not only for roasting but also for workshops, public cuppings, and education that has become central to the Taste identity. Elisa, a celebrated Italian barista and Italian Brewers Cup Champion, serves as the public face and educator of the operation, while Fabio drives the roasting side, fulfilling a long held ambition to control the craft from green bean to cup. Taste was ranked third in the 2024 Barawards, Italy's most prestigious hospitality awards, marking the fifth time the operation has appeared on the list and placing a small Veneto brand alongside celebrated names from Milan and Rome. The range spans 90+ competition coffees and rotating single origin specialty lots organized by flavor profile, from fruity to spiced to cacao and dried fruit, all roasted in Postioma and served with the kind of guided approachability that has made Taste a reference point for specialty coffee in northeastern Italy.
