A washed Typica Mejorado lot from Hacienda La Papaya in Loja Province, Ecuador, produced by Juan Peña. Typica Mejorado is a cross between Bourbon and Ethiopian landrace varieties, noted for its physical and sensory resemblance to Typica. The farm features an on-site variety nursery, extensive irrigation network, and its own dry mill and exporting wing. This lot offers a refined, lightly tropical cup with notes of black tea, Bosc pear, and botanicals.
