This coffee is produced by 100 members of the Grupo Asociativo Villa Esperanza cooperative in the Guadalupe Municipality, Huila Department, Colombia. The beans are grown at altitudes between 1500 and 1900 meters above sea level. The coffee consists of Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo varieties, all fully washed processed. The flavor profile features sweet butterscotch, orange citrus, stewed apple, and roasted almond notes, with hints of milk chocolate and cranberry on the finish. The roast is medium dark with a focus on balance and caramelization.
