Los Magnificos Geisha - Colombia

Swerl Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This Geisha coffee is from San Agustin, Huila, Colombia, produced by various producers from the Monkaaba group including Orlando Quinayas, Diana Quinayas, Jose Omar Muñoz, Rovira Salamanca, and Stiven Hoyos. Grown at elevations between 1600-1989 meters above sea level, this washed Geisha variety displays a floral and complex profile with tasting notes of rose, raspberry, jasmine, and lingering peach. This is the fourth iteration of Los Magnificos, a community lot designed to support small producers with high-quality coffee in quantities too small to export individually. Processing varies between producers, with each delivering their parchment to the Monkaaba bodega where it is tasted, analyzed, and selected for this lot.
