Malino

About This Coffee

This Indonesian coffee is from the Malino region of South Sulawesi, grown at 1400-1500 meters altitude. The Typica variety is cultivated by farmers from the village of Topidi, who began their quality-focused journey in 2006 on fertile volcanic soils. Their quality was formally recognized in the 2021 Indonesia Cup of Excellence with ninth and eleventh place rankings. The coffee undergoes hybrid washed processing with controlled fermentation and careful drying, bringing forward plum sweetness, black tea structure, and muscovado richness. The coffee is balanced, comforting, and quietly complex with flavor notes of plum, black tea, and muscovado.
