About This Coffee

Mexico Chiapas Serrano is an organic coffee from producers associated with Productores Serranos de Café de Motozintla in the Chiapas region. Grown at 1500-1750 meters elevation in the Sierra Madre mountain range near the El Triunfo biosphere reserve, this washed coffee features heirloom varieties: Bourbon, Typica, and Caturra. Nearly 200 growers across 22 communities cultivate the coffee using organic practices, with individual farms processing their coffee through micro-mills and sun-drying on patios.
