Triple Co. Roast

Triple Co. Roast was founded in early 2015 by Jo Thompson in Bristol, after she spent two years studying coffee roasting in California. The roastery operates from Stokes Croft on a restored 25kg Probat that was purchased after sitting out of service for ten years in London, then completely rebuilt and powered by 100% renewable green gas. Jo sources from 58 plantations globally, including farms in Madagascar and China, and typically pays producers three times the conventional market price through a direct trade model. The roastery maintains an open access policy, welcoming the public to visit and ask questions about the process. Among their more unusual products are wooden Nespresso capsules, made from wood shavings and starch. Wholesale clients receive free espresso machine breakdown cover and servicing alongside their coffee supply.
