Monsoon Malabar AA

Monsoon Malabar AA

Rossette Coffee

About This Coffee

Monsoon Malabar AA is a single origin coffee from India's Malabar coast. The beans undergo a traditional monsooning process for 3 months, exposed to moist monsoon winds, causing them to swell and fade. This results in a nutty and earthy flavor profile with reduced acidity. Roasted to a medium level to highlight balance and sweetness, it is recommended for French press, moka pot, and espresso brewing methods.

Rossette Coffee

Vansh and Aashrray founded Rossette Coffee in Delhi, combining hospitality experience with home brewing obsession. The roastery works across an unusually broad range of species: arabica, robusta, excelsa, and liberica, all scored above 80 on the SCA scale. Product lines include an Alcohol Series of spirit aged coffees, a Rarities line featuring fruit fermentations and carbonic maceration, and more conventional single origins and blends. Roasting runs on a German machine in small batches, and the company operates on a direct trade model with full profit returned to farmers.
