About This Coffee

This single-origin coffee comes from the Wantoat District in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea, grown at 1,500–1,650 meters altitude. It is produced by approximately 500 smallholder farmers in a remote area and features Typica and Bourbon Arabica varieties. Processed using the washed method, parchment coffee is collected at certified buying stations and milled at Lahamenegu in the Eastern Highlands Province. Harvested between April and August, the beans deliver a clean and refined cup profile.

Nordic Roasting Co.

Founded in 2020 by Francesco Impallomeni, Jacob Frankel, and Miguel Botero in Copenhagen's Amager district, Nordic Roasting Co. operates as a roastery, cafe, and educational hub. Their mission centers on providing high quality, sustainable, and ethically sourced specialty coffee while creating transparency about the social and environmental impacts of the coffee industry. Most of their coffee is direct traded with farmers, with remaining purchases made transparently through importers who disclose prices paid to producers. They craft roast coffee to bring out the essence of different terroirs, and provide customers with the full package: freshly roasted beans, state of the art brewing equipment, and ongoing training.
