About This Coffee

A Costa Rica coffee from the Cordillera del Fuego micro-mill, located in the West Valley and Tarrazu regions. Produced by José Francisco Fernández Arias and Luis Eduardo Campos Varela, grown at 1,700 meters altitude. The blend of Caturra and Catuaí varieties is processed using an anaerobic honey method: cherries are fermented in sealed barrels for 2–3 days, then depulped with mucilage intact and dried on patios for three weeks. Harvested January–March. Tasting notes include cinnamon, crème anglaise, nutmeg, and brown sugar with a rich, creamy body. Roasted Omni.
