Produced by Mutheka Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS), consisting of approximately 5,000 smallholder farmers averaging 200 coffee trees each. The beans are grown at 1,900–2,000 meters altitude on volcanic soil, featuring varieties SL28, SL34, Ruiru11, and Batian.
