KillbeanAbout This Coffee
This Ethiopian coffee from Gedeb is grown in high-elevation wild forests at 2150-2250 meters behind the home of producer Alemayehu Bereno Tero. The landscape has never been chemically treated or conventionally cultivated. The forest canopy creates cool airflow and shaded ripening, allowing cherries to develop concentrated sweetness and aromatic depth. Only deep-red cherries are harvested before undergoing slow, traditional African-bed drying. The natural processing is shaped by the rhythm of the surrounding forest, resulting in vivid fruit, soft florals and forest-grown sweetness with notes of orange, strawberry, blackberry, rose, and hard candy.
