Oaxaca Chelín Enrique Lopez Gesha Red Honey

Oaxaca Chelín Enrique Lopez Gesha Red Honey

Almanegra Café

About This Coffee

A Gesha variety grown at Finca Chelín in the Pante Neblina area of Candelaria Loxicha, Oaxaca, Mexico, by producer Enrique López Aguilar. The farm sits at approximately 2,100 meters above sea level in one of the highest and coldest sections of the estate. Processed as a Red Honey with Carbonic Maceration — a winemaking technique inspired by the French Beaujolais region. The honey nomenclature is determined by cherry rest time (one day) rather than the amount of pulp retained. An exclusive micro-lot for Almanegra Café.
