About This Coffee

A Peaberry coffee from Sigri Plantation in the Waghi Valley, Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea, grown at approximately 1,500–1,550m above sea level in volcanic soil shaded by old-growth trees. The Arabica varieties Typica and Arusha are used. Fully washed and sun-dried using the distinctive Sigri process: cherries are hand-picked, pulped on the same day, fermented for three days with washing every 24 hours, then submerged in water for an additional day. Medium roast with tasting notes of milk chocolate, candied citrus, strawberry, and rhubarb. Silky body with a sweet, lasting aftertaste.
