About This Coffee

A single-origin coffee with two rotating origins during the year. In spring, the harvest comes from Incahuasi cooperative in the Cusco region of Peru, grown at altitudes between 1700-2300 meters. In winter, it switches to fresh coffee from Comicovel cooperative in the Opalaca region of Honduras, grown at 1400-1800 meters elevation. Both cooperatives are Fairtrade and organically certified. The coffee features varieties including Caturra, Pacas, Typica, and Bourbon, all processed using the washed method. This medium-dark roast delivers flavor notes of sweet caramel, nougat, and crispy red apples.

Johan & Nyström

One of the earliest names in Swedish specialty coffee, Johan & Nystrom was co founded by Johan Wallenborg and Ola Nystrom in Stockholm in 2004. The roastery helped establish the culture of single origin coffee and direct trade sourcing in a market that was just beginning to look beyond commercial blends. Over two decades, the operation has grown into one of Sweden's most recognized specialty brands, supplying cafes, restaurants, offices, and retail customers across the country. The roasting philosophy centers on drawing out each coffee's individual character. Johan & Nystrom also runs educational programs including barista training and coffee courses, and its beans are distributed through specialty retailers such as Bonor & Blad. A subscription program keeps regular customers stocked with seasonal releases.
