This coffee is a single-origin selection from the La Orquidea farm in the Lonya Grande region of Peru, grown at an altitude of 1750-2150 meters. Produced by farmer Litman Diaz Campos, this coffee consists of Geisha and Bourbon varieties. It is processed using a washed method, involving a 20-hour fermentation in cherries followed by 16 hours in parchment and a 30-day slow drying process. The flavor profile features notes of hibiscus, jasmine, dried figs, and red grapes, offering a complex and harmonious cup suitable for filter brewing methods.
Kolna Roastery is a family run operation set in a converted agricultural barn in Lhota, near Benešov, in the Czech countryside. The founders chose to preserve the character of the historic structure while building a modern roasting facility inside it. They offer a broad selection of specialty coffees, from espresso blends with rich chocolate tones to single origins with bright, fruity profiles. The roastery reflects a philosophy rooted in deep coffee knowledge and a connection to the rural landscape that surrounds it.
