About This Coffee

A Caturra variety coffee from the Planadas municipality in the Tolima department of Colombia, grown at approximately 1600 meters altitude at the foot of the Nevado del Huila volcano. Organically certified. After harvest, the cherries are pulped, fermented for 18–24 hours, washed, and sun-dried for about two weeks, followed by a short mechanical drying phase for uniform residual moisture. Flavor notes of walnut, cocoa, and plum with a balanced, reduced-acidity character. Suitable for filter and espresso brewing methods.
